1900 US Census

Three ancestors/relatives have not been found in the 1900 Census records as yet who we know were in the US at the time of the census.  They are Max Bernstein, William Fried, and Arthur Heyman.  Arthur's parents and sisters were here and their information is recorded, however, Arthur is not listed for some reason.  There are several Max Bernsteins in New York City at the time of the census, but none match his birth year or year of immigration.  William Fried's record has not been found as well.  In other censuses, his immigration year is stated as 1899, while others list it as 1900, so it is possible that he was not as yet in America.  Since his immigration record as yet has not been found, this cannot be verified.

There are NO descendants of Alexander and Helene Braunhart in America in 1900  The only future spouse in America at that time was Jacob's first wife Ruby Pearl Rawson.

Samuel Braunhart and Sara Braunhart Bernstein were here but brother Bernhard had died in 1890.  His widow and son are recorded. Rosa Levison Braunhart had remarried a Victor Jones who died before 1900, so she and Harry are listed as Rosa and Harry Jones.

All of Sara Braunhart and Aaron Bernstein's children were in America; we couldn't find Max as I stated earlier; Cecelia is married to Max Markheim;  Amalie is married to William Brock; Ernestine is married to Isidore Heyman, and Hattie, who had not yet married William Fried, is living with Sara. Of the Bernstein children who were in the US, the records of Celia's future husband Mervyn Marks, Regina Brock's future husband Arlon Albee, and Martha Heyman's future husband Leo Metzner are included.
